Vacuum fluctuation interactions are used to describe a wide range of observed phenomena such spontaneous emission, molecular formation, forces, frequency shifts, noise, and photon generation.  These sessions will focus on novel approaches to engineer these interactions such as using non-reciprocity, artificial gauges, asymmetric potentials, rotation, material geometry, and coherence.

We will discuss fundamental physics models that are based on vacuum fluctuation dynamics, and will explore basic conservations related to generating forces by breaking fluctuation symmetry.  Approaches to engineering the space-time metric and inertia will also be a topic.  There will be diverse, edge presentations from top researchers and group discussions intended to further our understanding and refine our questions.  We wish to move the field forward by forming collaborations and generating the development paths needed to answer key questions.

Charles Chase is a co-founder of the UnLAB, a non-profit focused on the ideas themselves, working to turn breakthrough science into disruptive technologies for our nation, all people and the planet.  At the Lockheed Martin Skunk Works he founded and led the Revolutionary Technology Programs organization, developing technologies such as a new compact approach to hot fusion, electromagnetic systems, and engineered materials for energy and propulsion.
